Valandil landed as gracefully as his larger body allowed. He made the wrenching change back to human form, exhausted from the demands of the shape changing. He really should get a horse, he thought to himself cracking the cinks in his neck, Allendi should be here any second she was just behind him when he landed. The thought of Allendi brought a tear to his eye, The pain she must be feeling.

Allendi made sure to dry her tears before she rode into the cove. Suprisingly, she felt much better as she dismounted and allowed Starling to wander freely. The wind rushed through the trees and her hair as she looked up at a moment to the stars, then back down, casting Valandil a slight smile as she took out the pendant her mother had given her again. Her mothers words gave her comfort, when her mother said she would not be able to live without her husband. It brought Allendi comfort to know that even in death they were together.
"Yulan turethsar nurindi lenthe." She said quietly to Valandil. It meant, I am sorry for earlier, I really didn't mean it.

Elaida on her small mare follwed her Mistress to the cove, she was exhausted riding was never her thing but she couldn't strip and bear her wings to use, even they weren't strong enough to fly with. She was one of the few to escape the palace when the monsters took over, she had followed the Princess to safety and yet she didn't know the Princess that well, Elaida was a simple cleaner at the palace and had never spoken to the Princess.
But she wasn't like all the others who were mostly elves, she was faery and had left her hive in the forest Yasverylln for a more exciting life, working at the palace had gained her a wage, nice dorm and the palace being near a beautiful city where she could shop and learn elven traditions. Her wings were still small so she could hide them under her clothes and her ears were pointy just like the elves so she blended in perfect or she would till her wings grew.
Brushing away those thoughts, she lept pf her hose but keeping her distance from the Mistress, she felt nervous and stupid. She sat down, huddled up and wiped away a tear, a part of her wished she was back home safe with her family in the hive, the orcs and monsters that attacked the palace was aweful and their cold killings, attacking everyone they saw in the palace, Elaida had been so lucky and she didn't deserve it...

Allendi knew the girl was there, could sense her prescence. She had never exchanged words with the girl, she had merely been a servant, not that it really mattered what the girls stature was. She glanced at her for a moment, then back to Valindil.

Valandil shrugged, " The more the marrier," he said in a flat tone, knowing that he was now responsablie for the girls safty as well as Allendi's and his.

Allendi looked at him for a moment, but couldn't help herself as she wrapped her arms around his waist in a hug, she had been wanting to do that for the longest time, but hadn't found the courage until now. Elaide was a few yards from them, sleeping seeing as a faerie's natural time was durring the day. And Allendi smiled up at Valandil, her arms still around his waist.

Valandil couldn't help himself, He returned the hug lifting her of her feet, as he set her down he kissed her lightly on the lips, almost afraid of what he was doing, but he couldn't stop himself. As he parted from the kiss he laughed, at the look of shock on her face, "I have wanted to do that for quites some time." he admited

A slight blush rose to her cheeks, but was gone as quickly as it had come, a smile taking its place. "Oh? Ye have now?" She teased gently, taking his hand, "Come, I want to show you something." She said, leading him towards the Forest of Ashrynelle.
